Hi, I’m rachel.

I am a licensed and practicing Psychotherapist, Reiki Master Practitioner, Certified Spiritual Life Coach and Medical Intuitive.

After experiencing my own challenges post-partum, I discovered a dire need for women to be able to find and access quality care. This inspired me to pursue psychotherapy and holistic healing as a career path. I can say I now specializes in the unique treatment needs of women and mothers - guiding them in recognizing the power and authority they have over their own lives.

I approach my work with profound empathy, authenticity and attune to the way my intuition and self energy to guide me through helping my clients heal. I utilize the transcendental aspects of our world or what is beyond the observable physical universe, to help connect to the energetic field, higher self, and divine support of my clients. I do this to help guide them to their most authentic version of themselves.

I utilize my own spiritual guidance to help direct and guide me, extract my own ego and judgement, and best serve my client. Such as when I am preforming a Reiki treatment, I define myself as more of a vessel then the one leading a session. I will allow, with discernment, the transcendental aspects of the world to guide my practices. Regardless of which hat I am wearing, the principals I practice by remain the same which I find best serve the highest good of my client.

Unalome

Unalome

The spiral

The beginning of your spiritual awakening in which you have the first stirrings of conscious awareness.

The swirling lines

This indicates the path that your life takes as you reach enlightenment. Life is never a straight line. It is full of twists and turns, lessons that we have to learn and the struggles that we face. Sometimes our life goes back upon itself because we have to retrace our steps so that we can become wiser.

As we gain greater awareness, our consciousness expands, and the loops that make up the Unalome lines become tighter toward the top of the image. This tightness in the loops is a symbol of one becoming more centered and aligned with the divine and one’s journey towards enlightenment.

The straight line

When you get out of the swirl, you suddenly see everything very clearly. Like a straight line. The road is pure, that’s where you are free and reach enlightenment. Your end goal.

The dots

These symbolize enlightenment. The line just below the dots becomes straight, which indicates one reaching enlightenment and your end goal. It is a representation of one attaining liberation from the cycle of life and death. You have reached nirvana. Finally, you are free.

The Lotus

The lotus finds light despite the difficulties it faces, it is a reminder of the beauty of our personal journey to enlightenment.

“Just like the lotus we too have the ability to rise from the mud, bloom out of the darkness and radiate into the world.”

Origin and meaning

The Unalome is both a Buddhist and a Hindu symbol. It represents the path to freedom or enlightenment. Some may refer to it as your life's path. The sign consists of multiple parts: the spiral, the swirl, the straight line, the dots and sometimes a lotus. You read the Unalome from bottom to top.
